TacRail and Other Gear from SCI

The fourth production run (over 1,000 units) of the TacRail is moving forward in conjunction with the finalization of the patent and approval to move forward with making Survival Consultants International, LLC a Beretta USA approved vendor. (Information for this arrangement has been provided to Beretta USA through its agents as per request.)

We continue to develop new items, and some of those items, such as our gloves and pistol grips, have been design from top to bottom to be more adaptive, protective, and reliable than anything else.

The pistol grips were designs to not scratch the wearer or their holster setup. Instead, it was created to have the meat of the palm or the hide of the glove push into the open patterning of the grip, providing a smooth wear surface with a positive grip on the weapon even if the hand is wet with blood, sweat, oil, grease, and so forth.

The gloves are the only gloves sold anywhere that contain all three protective components (Kevlar, Spectra, and Nomex) for anti-puncture, anti-slice, and protection from heat and burns.

Christian Lowe

SCI is proud to call Christian Lowe from Defense Tech Dot Org A Friend"..." "Currently "Touring" Iraq" See the Dump they Buried Saddam in----> what comes around..... ( DW- I've spoken to Christian Lowe twice from "the suck", albeit a war zone, he's in his element for sure....He loves the "juice". He's gathering great intel to pass back to the civi population, all you have to do is open your eyes, n click a link n read! : ) Soon, or by now, he's actually going out "looking, hunting down IED's!" Thats never safe, but SCI is deeply involved in trying to find a larger customer for our patented vehicle counter ied blast wave armor, so of course we look forward to any information we can gather. Christian is the only reporter I personally trust to talk to about "proprietary projects" and know that he will not divulge it. Even though he is getting "classified" briefings in order to go out hunting down the nasty "killing pies", we know he would never divulge that confidential briefing intel to SCI, its not his way. He is a man of honor and has our utmost respect.

Exteriostructure

We've created a new word that describes how we choose to run our company for the most part.

exteriostructure (noun)

  1. Basic: Outside of the infrastructure. (Yet may be attached to the infrastructure.)
  2. Scientific: Partial structure attached yet outside of the cell/molecule. (i.e. The molecule had loose bonds attached.)
  3. Business or Fuzzy Logic: Epitomy of utilizing precise HR or equipment from any mobius of entities to further the objectives of a central entity.

Our company has set aside the infrastructure process and chosen to simply create a concentric circle of exteriostructure by use of professionals in multiple disciplines as our core of strategic partnership in completing our overall goals.

Survival Consultants is proud to release the first images of the highly modified new TacRail for the 1911 Colt style USGI, .45 Cal Autopistol (TACRAIL MDL. 11 - 1911 USGI .45 Cal Autopistol). We will be accepting interested parties for licensing. Please contact Mr. Woroner directly.

We have also included what may seem like totally unrelated images. The point of intermingling them is to demonstrate a couple of simple points. Survival Consultants never stops innovating as evidenced in the new Model 11 Tacrail. It is a long way from the original versions.... The wound up pieces of Honeywell/Allied Signals Spectra was on our minds as well. Back in 2005, these images of demonstrative intent to wind Spectra fibers were taken. Now, the simple point is this, you don't have to be a monstrous company to have monsterous positive outcomes. We at SCI do not believe success is wholly dependent on a massive infrastructure. SCI is built as an EXTERIOSTRUCTURE. It is the epitomization of utilizing the precise professionals from any mobius of entities.

So, in closing out 2007, SCI would like to wish Honeywell/Allied Spectra Inventors, Engineers, Scientists, etc. a very merry Christmas and a happy new year as they strive as we do to make products to save, protect, and defend our people and our nation.

May you and yours have a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Sincerely,
David Woroner, Pres. SCI

Follow up on Virginia Tech. Shooting.

Previous Survival Consultants intelligence briefing, which was put up within a day or two of this senseless and needless killing spree, I laid out some simple guidelines and issued a wake up call that I do hope will be heeded.

Follow Up: In the Aftermath of the release of the of Gov. Timothy Kaine's appointed panel, while not "scathing", did say via Panel Chairman: ""The Alert should have been issued, and classes should have been closed." Too often we see what can happen, and how fast... The term I use "Everything can change in a Second" still applies. We all know that what it comes down to for businesses (private or public), educational facilities. It is about the bottom line, cash and PR. This is a repetitive action, faced on almost every job and it is still applicable, The Head Honcho wants to "bottom line" everything and match it against positive/negative PR associated. Then off course it has to run through "The Accountants Office". The Liability vs. Cost of this "Professional Security Presence" is easily offset. If Virginia Tech had armed professionals there, they would have engaged. There may have been casualties, but not so many. Also, from a Business Perspective? How much are you now gonna have to pay those 30 odd families whom lost young ones in litigated settlements? I can guarantee you this "cheap" is not the word I would use. If you had the professionals onsite, in a court of law, it would be easily shown that "The overseeing entity provided security for the employees, students and visitors to the best of their abilities.".... In my opinion, that would be the court's final say.

It's all about "Did you do everything you could, or at least show you tried to avert some situation such as this." Follow the above or get ready to get sued out of business. When there is blood in the water, the sharks will come.

Depending on the size of a venue, Professional, Armed Security is a must.

Overview:
These professionals should not be walking around in battle dress, etc., but a "specific dress delineates who the good guys are." Proper dress is very important in this scenario. Active shooters, terrorists, and other unforeseen plans will always be there from now on, get used to it, prepare. Proper planning prevents poor performance. This security presence is not intended to be the creation of a secret police, police state mentality in the venue. The idea is to always be constitutionally bound by fairness, law and contain the ability to incorporate checks and balances within itself. It must protect the protected from becoming the target of an out of control security member or members. It should also be decisive and final in case of an event. It should come from "proper team selection" and overall creation of the intended group, to include all three key components of the security field. The three components are private security, prior military, prior law enforcement within the scope of the American Society Industrial Security. This will surely bring together a "force that will be able to work together from different viewpoints, both learned and lived." Finally, an "off property training location" to engage in learning, training and cross training in all of these learned prior experiences. To include methodologies, communication, real time maneuvering, live fire exercise. This must be supported by the "entity employing/engaging such professionals". The operators must work out plans in real time scenarios, to discover any internal flaws and fix them. You can only do this when your sweating, engaging, etc. The world goes to a different level when "an event takes place." This cannot be under emphasized. Also, in the contract, it must state that administrators, owners, CEO's, etc may not intervene and attempt to persuade or order the security group to engage or cease. There is a "lockout and protection clause from the hiring entity in the case of certain events."

Communications shall consist of: Contact with each other and the security base as well as a channel for switching to "interweave", which would allow security and law enforcement (local, state, federal) in the case of an event to coordinate. Complete loop communications is essential. These Professionals will quickly delineate the property and everything on it to understand points of flow, large grouping areas. Develop operational plans for multiple scenarios on all parts of the "property" being secured.

Overall NETWORK:
Awareness Notification and Threat Level Delineation. The event at V. Tech. should clearly illustrate the need for an overall; all encompassing notification and threat level "all electronic device notification system." What this means is that sending out an email is not satisfactory. Incorporation of the network. The "Administration personnel" must be taught to pass all threatening phone calls any type of written, spoken, etc intelligence must go directly to the Security Center. The Security Center head (at the time) [and this is a 24/7 operation] should receive all data, and distribute that information to professionals on the property immediately, these Professionals know how, can delineate the level of threat and respond appropriately. This does not infer that Regular Campus Police should be removed. Rather this is an add on specialized "unit or force", and should have information flowing back and forth between regular campus police, the security center and in case of an event, all know to "switch to X channel for interwoven communications." Returning to the "all electronic device notification system." This system would do the following: Install Strobe type flashing units around the property, this strobe only to be activated only in the event an "entire property notification has been sent." This property wide strobe would allow for all on property to know (even if they were not electronically connected that something "was going on"), PRE ADVISED to seek out someone w/ an electronic device to get the following information: (To be issued only by the Security Center/Law Enforcement entity in prior communication to activation.)

Devise a Threat Level ladder and make sure that adequate PRE information has been delivered to all what the threat ladder consists of... (demonstrative only) Example Only (each security unit would devise a specific set of parameters)

Green—All Clear and Safe To Move About Freely.

Yellow—Receipt of information that there MAY be a Problem, though not overly serious at this time, monitor your electronic device for any updates. (No Strobe)

Orange—A low level threat or incident is confirmed, and all should remain calm, stay where you are, and seek cover, shelter, lock doors within your current placement. (Do NOT panic, this causes problems.) "Notify Security Center if you positively can identify a threat" (This will set in motion a number of "false positives.") Be prepared to respond/not respond, and perhaps some administration can be taught to help with this situation. This would be a situation for all law enforcement, security center to "switch to interwoven channel." (Slow Strobe?)

Red—Now Imminent or Active—Extremely Dangerous Event Taking Place at This Time.

Do not move from where you are. (See Part 1 of SCI's Intel Brief) Same Steps as Orange pretty much for public, but this activates Local LE, Campus Police, Security Center "interwoven communications/full interweave" PRE planned specific areas for all entities LE/Security to gather if appropriate, or go directly to a plan already known and sent to all on interwoven channel. (Rapid Strobe?)

This information MUST over ride, and deliver to multiple sources this information. All Cell Phones, Pagers, Computers, Phone Systems, etc. must receive the same / or more detailed information. All Devices Must Receive These Ladder Steps. (If there needs to be some programming, networking, downloading of a "Ladder Code or Data" it should be readily accessible to all devices, Property IT in Conjunction with Security Center and Campus Police should work together as much as needed.

I have specifically avoided how to setup the Security Center and Cameras/Camera Placement, as there are very good reasons for keeping them "not available" to potential threats."

Time for some changes... finally?

I have spoken for years not only to corporations but to educational facilities, outreach programs, and many other places where people congregate.

What I have said so many times has come home to roost once again. The awful rampage of one man, only armed with a semi-automatic pistol, can be and was devastating. I have tried to get the message out—tried to implant a simple piece of knowledge that "everything can change in a second."

There are a few things I would like to address and, as a professional, feel it is my responsibility to do so again here and now. Any place where people congregate is, and has been, a target for a "lone active shooter" or a determined group to rain down the horror we have again witnessed. It doesn't matter if it's a local mall, school, church, etc.... These ill-intentioned people seek "clusters of people."

Some mentalities that must change:

  1. An active shooter within a closed, confined space is only going to stop when one of several things happens.

    1. They run out of ammunition
    2. There are no targets within range
    3. They take their own lives
    4. An armed professional engages and "removes" the threat
    5. Behavior must change—do not "hunker down." Move in any way possible away from the threat as quickly and safely as possible. The youngsters at Columbine who may have cut themselves or injured themselves getting out of a second story window made a much wiser choice than simply staying where they were.
  2. What colleges, corporations, and other facilities cost for a person to learn, work, etc. these days demands that each large building—on a campus for instance—should have an armed professional within. If there was an armed security agent in any of these places, surely the toll taken would have been less. A trained and skilled security agent/retired law enforcement/active duty law enforcement officer who is armed has a much greater chance of ending an "active shooter's" rampage. Without question, it is my opinion that an armed professional should be located within the ranges of these places where numbers of people congregate.

    1. "It won't happen here..."

Well, I think that point is shown to be absurdly wrong with the latest rounds of homicidal, suicidal Kamikaze-type attacks in small school houses, large campuses, and shopping malls. Usually a director of security is then forced to hire "baton only" type security. This must change. You don't bring a club to a gunfight.

    2. When will the "higher echelon" of business, educational, and other entities finally realize that there are a lot of highly-trained men and women that would gladly accept these positions? Is the money more important than the well being of the people who visit you? Think for a moment, if you will, how many ex-law enforcement and soon to be ex-soldiers will be coming home. There will be a large pool to draw from. It would be about time to find these folks, offer them a decent living wage, and know that children, women, and brave men (a 76-year-old holocaust survivor) would not have to die needlessly.

Finally, there are a multitude of other ramifications, opportunities, techniques, and more to be had and obtained to assist in keeping people safer. In the end, there is no guarantee, but some people "up the ladder" should now, hopefully, get the message. Anytime, any place... yes, there are monsters.

Docter Red Dot Gun Sight

SCI recommends the Docter red dot sight for mounting on the WOR4 TacRail!

SCI recommends Cylinder and Slide SFS System.

After extensive testing, Survival Consultants would like to recommend a product to all carriers of the M1911 Colt and Browning Hi-Power style automatics.

Cylinder and Slide offers a very unique kit. For oldsters used to carrying "cocked 'n' locked," it won't seem worth it. Think again for a minute.

The SFS (Safety Fast Shooting) kit enables you to carry your 1911 essentially cocked but with the additional safety of having the hammer lowered and a firing pin block in place.

It has been termed "condition five."

The way it works is simple. Load the gun as normal, insert the magazine, and rack the slide. Now, instead of trying to snick up on the safety, simply push the hammer forward until it seats. You'll feel or hear a click.

Now holster the weapon. If needed for immediate deployment, simply do what you've always done: draw and drop the safety off at the time you always do. When you do this, the hammer will snap back smartly, meaning it's into the full cock position.

The benefit of this is that you can carry your 1911 in a cocked and locked mode without that nagging worry that you might somehow, someway accidently snick off all the safeties and get the trigger to depress.

Don't feel alone. I have had this happen many times as I am a lefty and require an ambi safety. Several times I have looked down or felt down only to find my Colt with the safety off. Now it really isnt that big of a deal. That is unless you manage at the same time to depress the grip safety and the trigger gets nudged rearward. This new system takes all the worry out of that scenario.

I've installed it myself, (I'm not a gunsmith, but I am an armorer.) Some may need a minute or two's help from a smith, and they shouldn't try to rip you off. I personally recommend the SFS (Safety Fast Shooting) Kit. (No, C&S didn't pay me to say this!)

Sincerely,
David Woroner, President
Survival Consultants International, L.L.C.

It is the position of Survival Consultants International L.L.C. that the current conflict between radical components of the Muslim world of jihadists have a view of how they intend to fight their war against us, "the Great Satan."

There are no means they will not utilize, no scheme too low. Honor is only a word to them insofar as how many of us "non-believers" they can kill.

SCI believes that the current "war on terrorism" is very short-sighted in its overall view and ability to apply global planning, logistics and pre-stationed spec-ops troops in certain "hotspots" to defeat terrorism.

The single most important thing our politicians and military brass must get through their heads is this:

We are now living in the New Crusades!
It is Western culture and civilization vs. Islamic fanaticism.

You will fight the way you train.
Train hard, bleed less.
"Wear your gear!"

In light of the recently attempted "sky terror plot," we at SCI would like it to be known, though in the business specifically of creating new devices and products, does have assets available for deployment to conduct security reviews of everything from hardened facilities to airports, aircraft, ports, vessels, etc., as well as any other concern. If you require these types of services, please contact us and we will put you in direct contact with the correct personnel.

Finalizing TacRail manufacturing procedures and choices. SCI has consulted with former Delta Force operators, and the opinion is to move forward with making the initial TacRail for the Beretta M9 pistol.
