The Maritime Security Division of SCI is dedicated to protecting people, critical assets and infrastructures on a global scale. The mere presence of SCI operators on a ship is often enough to ensure the safety of vessels and their crews in pirate infested waters furthering the crew with confidence and a heightened morale to perform at their very best.

The Operational Element of SCI utilizes the following conventions to govern our abilities to provide protection of life and assets at sea.

SOLAS, Original and Subsequent Conventions beginning in 1914 through to present time.

ConWarTime Following this Convention is similar to "Laws of the Seas". We intend to honor;

SCI crews will abide by the "Good Samaritan" clause of the high seas and with the Master’s permission will render assistance to any vessel in distress. No Entity Shall Reserve the Right to come between our mission and the Ship Master's Intent in International waters. Furthermore, we will always respect the wishes of the Vessel's Master, under Dire Circumstances We Reserve the Right to Defend ourselves as Independent Contract Operators. We Answer to the Owners and Master of the Vessel while at sea or in port. In times of intense turmoil, should the Master wish to sacrifice the Vessel, We will stand by the orders of the Master. Lethal force is always a last option, yet Our Operators have Express Permission to protect and defend themselves from becoming captives or casualties.

SCI crews will always abide by the International Laws of the Seas. We will also obey the master and owners of said vessel until it is apparent in some fashion that our operators consider themselves to have been deemed "expendable" at which time, We (SCI) and each operator reserves the right to defend themselves in International Waters.

SCI's highly-skilled operators are trained in employing non-lethal deterrents in favor of full engagement of hostile forces. Extreme measures are employed only as a last resort. SCI operators will make every effort to avoid endangering the lives of its clients, crews and any other crews and we reserve the right to use lethal force under strict rules of engagement.

SCI's Maritime Division has a strong reputation of Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty and Honor. We possess a singular ability to manage large or small, complex or routine contracts with flexibility, precision and complete confidentiality. We maintain a very low profile both on shore and shipboard in order to allow the crew to operate with the least interference and complete confidence.

Once SCI has been contracted, your Ship's Master can remain secure that his cargo and crew will arrive at the appointed destination safely and on time. In foreign ports, SCI operators are also available to perform personal security services should the principal or contractor deem it necessary. Our operators are equally comfortable in tuxedos as they are in BDUs and most are multi-lingual.
