New Tacrail Models coming on line.
Sunday, March 02, 2008
IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
SCInt'l. now has NOT only the Beretta single and double models (Mod. B). We are done with our 1911 lowers and double picatinny rails (Mod 11). SCI must reiterate a point of fact. Mounting a railing system to a gun must interface as if it was built orinally "at the plant", it also cannot utilize "replacement parts" of the "working firearm", just so as to mount said other parties mount. This is just poor engineering. < Please listen to this.
In short; Model B's Lowers handled by our agreement with Beretta. (Now On Hold) The double rail for the M9 (and it fits eight other beretta's).. will be made by SCI.
We will either sell ourselves the 1911 Tacrail, or entertain some of the possibilities that exist w/ large distributers.
We have had surprising amounts of potential customers request the full original version, meaning quad rails and muzzle block w/ "glass breaker."
SCI and its Manufacturing Arm Creating Specialized Holsters;
Finally a thigh and chest mount rig that will be available soon on the Gear4Ops (TM) website.
GRIPS; JP & SCI Agree to co produce our revolutionary grips for the Beretta and 1911 pistol. They are revolutionary, will be relatively quickly on the market.

SCI-JP Mach. to produce new pistol grip series.
Tuesday, January 08, 2008
For Immediate Release
SCI and JP Machining have reached a mutual agreement to produce and sell a line of pistol grips. Currently as the grips are brought to fruition, there will be a design patent on them. In Pat Pend. status now, these grips will be revolutionary in their design and shooter friendliness. Tentatively we have adopted the name "Ronin Series" and the first model being "Avenger", The "Ronin-Avenger Grips" will first be released for the Colt 1911 and same spec. clones. They tentatively will be sold from the SCI Website. If you have interest in this product, contact SCI at the "contact page."

Wor4 Tacrail Now Fits Eight Models/SCITECH/Happy Holidays
Wednesday, December 05, 2007
Survival Consultants International makes the TacRail Mount. We do not make lights/lasers or optics, others are much better at that than us. We do not make plastic coffee cups or key fobs. We make a MOUNT that goes between a firearm and third party devices. Does it make alot of sense to buy an expensive pistol and great products from light/laser/optics manufacturers only to have a cheap peice of plastic as a mount? If you're not using a TACRAIL, your NOT using the best. We use the finest Aerospace Grade Aluminums.
SCI Intoduces New Images of the Model 11 Tacrail for the 1911 .45 USGI full size models. The TacRail Mdl 11 is in production with a 8 week expected "ready to ship date".
The Model B is in Negotiation with Beretta. Limited numbers of original "SCI" marked Model B M9 versions avail. (only a few left now.)
The other images are just an interesting cross over between like minded "creators" in two seperate, but fundamentally the same project. (Honeywell/Allied VS. Survival Consultants has put forth great efforts to bring this unique, one of a kind railing system to the world.
We have had a few "snags" along the way, minor, but time consuming.
Qoute; David Woroner;
"We have finished all machining setups and tooling, etc. to mass produce the Wor4 TacRail. The entire process has taken longer than anyone, including myself, would have thought. However, the resulting product is about as perfect as can be produced.
The TacRail is now in the Anodization Process, and when completed will be ready and available."

Pistol Carry Options in Defensetech.org

re: Chest Carry vs. Drop Leg Thigh Holster.
How to Wear your Tacrail Mounted Pistol.
Tuesday, May 08, 2007
For Immediate Release.
We are expecting the arrival of the TacRail now (update) by the 25th/27th of May.
It is the opinion of Survival Consultants that those users whom are either Law Enforcement (SWAT Officers) or Military Personnel carry the fully dressed out Beretta M9 - 92FS in the appropriate holster (which we are currently working on, and to work the way discussed here within.)on the chest. This prevents snag and retention problems. It is Survival Consultants opinion that the "leg drop thigh holster" has been completely misunderstood and would like to shed some light on the subject briefly.
Originally, Thigh Holsters were invented for those personnel whom had to wear harnesses for rappel and rope work. (obviously a hip mounted holster would not work.) So, ingeniously someone (GSG-9)created the Thigh Drop Holster. Unfortunatly now, every swat officer/ soldier is seen wearing these things. They are a HUGE snag hazard and just beg for a "bad guy to take a grab at it."
We would like to put forth a simple notion, and applaud BlackHawk for bringing forth their S.T.R.I.K.E. Bandoleer. This allows the wearer to wear the pistol where it should be, ON THE CHEST, Lets put it this way, if someones gonna snag or have a "snatch" incident take place, which of these three have the LEAST chance of succeeding 1) thigh 2) hip 3) chest ...
SCI supports the wearing for spec. leo and milops folks wearing their pistol on their chest where they can get to it. See BlackHawks offering at: (No i don't get paid for this!)
http://www.blackhawk.com/product1.asp?P=37CL81

Updated TacRail meets U.S. Military Requirements...
Tuesday, April 03, 2007
For Immediate Release:
Survival Consultants in conjunction with JP Machining have "revamped" the TacRail to conform with results recieved from Picatinny Arsenal/ARDEC. After initial approach, contact and "official answers, re:status & what they thought was "more appropriate." SCI has now completed Market Research studies that indicate as far as what "an overwhelming amount of shooters, from varying backgrounds seemed to want." Also, some Military Operators, Private Consultants, Security Experts as well as sport shooters and others gave their opinions. The numbers don't lie and the facts lead to a conclusion. What all were interested in was a top and bottom rail system. And all seemed to want the rail to stay in place, not be removed for "field stripping, cleaning. Since the SCI/Woroner WOR4 TacRails Patent Pending includes, and not limited to, any amount of railings, the attachment function to the firearm is the most important feature. The attachment utilizes a "clamping" type of attachment to the dustcover, then, a curve to the front of the trigger guard and from that, a "key", that goes inside the trigger guard. Obviously, this requires "a" (single) tool to accomplish this attachment. What SCI/JP identified was the utilization of industrial magnets to hold a single hex/torx type L wrench, this wrench will stay well attached through the toughest situations, yet be readily accessable. The wrench is held behind the Picatinny grooves on the bottom railing. No screws to loose, no tools to loose. Field cleaning (now) does not require the Tacrail to be removed. This is the only product that is specifically designed for the Beretta "type" pistol (M9-92FS) [Though it will fit many other Beretta licensed out designs, such as the Taurus series of pistols of similiar specifications (as well as a multitude of S. African to S. American Pistol licensee's.
Survival Consultants believes that this design will be accepted by all parties listed herein.
Also, Survival Consultants International see's the opportunity and potential to market this product to not only domestic agencies, but opens up a worldwide market to be explored and exploited. It should always remain clear that only "allied" countrys of the U.S. will be dealt with.
Qoute from D. Woroner, Pres. SCI "Anything thats going to be worth while to do should be done right. It should fill the void that the market requires, the Wor4 TacRail fills the void thus bringing the Beretta type pistols into the new millenium. The Beretta design is an excellent design and works in all conditions. There is alot of "speculation" on what the U.S. Military will do, since there seems to be a quiet question of returning to the 1911 .45 Colt type pistol. (not to mention the H&K's USP Mdls, and a variety of others.) It is my contention that the "War on Terrorism" is undeclared, therefore appropriate ammunition should be utilized. In so doing, the M9 Beretta is a better choice for many reasons. One, no need to replace all pistols already in service. It was/is Survival Consultants intent to give the pistol something that it was seriously lacking and that was a "battle ready platform" for mounting third party devices. The Wor4 Tacrail is and will be the platform of choice.
TacRail in Production
Wednesday, March 14, 2007
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Survival Consultants Int'l. has chosen JP Machining of Wisconsin to manufacture the Wor4 TacRail.
QOUTE- "3DE Engineeering was extremely valuable in bringing the TacRail from concept to realistic plans for manufacture. SCI is proud to have worked with 3DEngineering and looks forward to further development work with them.
At this time, SCI has selected JP Machining out of Wisconsin to perform the actual manufacturing process of the TacRail. Mr Woroner and Mr. Peaslee arrived at an equitable solution to manufacturing this product. It is not a simple design to create, however, SCI has all confidence in JP Machining to carry the ball to the finish line." David Woroner, Pres. SCI
SCI final stages of Mfg Selection...
Monday, March 05, 2007
For Immediate Release:
Manufacturers capable of building such a device as the TacRail is not easy. Especially if you want it to be affordable. The important thing is that we have decided if we couldnt bring it to market at a reasonable price, why do it? We have found several companys capable of meeting our cost to customer ratio's.
So, we are in final negotiations, which will end before the end of this week.
Once a company has been selected, it should be no more than 4/5 weeks until completed. So, yes, SCI is late in its release of the TacRail. It was scheduled for end December. It will be ready by early April.
The first one manufactured will be T & E'd by Mr. Woroner. Mr Woroner holds mutiple Armorer Certs. such as NRA instructor, graduate of Defensive Tactics Institute (John Farnams School) as well as Bail Bondsman Firearms Training and Executive Security International Firearms training. Mr Woroner is extrememly adept at delineating any problems should they arise and will not release the TacRail until he is satisfied that it is "Battle Field Ready."
SCI believes there will be no problems. However, if you have any idea about manufacturing, there could always be a hiccup, just waiting to be found! Qoute "We will get this to market, we will do it right, or not at all. It must be safe, it must be battle ready and always work." D.Woroner, Pres. SCI

They both have to do with Armor, therefore SCI can not say much about it. If you are an Armor Manufacturer and would like to discuss it please contact us.

Seeking Customer Input, Y or N on Tacrail?
Wednesday, February 14, 2007
Immediate Release 621AM Wed, 14Feb
SCI is openly seeking potential customer input.
It is important that SCI recieve outside input from potential customers on their opinions on SCI moving forward into production on the TacRail.
SCI has recieved several communications(40-50)
Inquirys: Whether or not SCI intends to move forward with production of TacRail.
Outside feedback is extremely important for SCI. We openly seek, posts in feedback or by the contact page.
Your feedback will have a large influence on how quickly SCI brings to market the TacRail.
David Woroner; Obviously we cannot make the complete decision based on this data, as it will have to be what I would refer to as "percieved want or need or even dislike/disdain for the production of the product, however, it would be very heavily weighing in on my decision as to whether to extend SCI in bringing the TacRail to market now or in 6 months to a year. I suppose this is an opportunity for the people at large to have an affect on what happens. When was the last time you saw a company willing to listen to you? So, we shall see what kind of response we recieve."
END PRESS RELEASE
TacRail, On Hold...Int'l. Pat. First.
Sunday, February 04, 2007
For Immediate Release:
The Tacrail is entering into full Patent status until capital is stabilized and the process may continue into production.
There are currently Political and Military Q&A's to be settled, and there is always a lag time built into those scenarios. However, SCI has built into its core values, we wait for no one to save lives.
The purpose of not going directly into production and securing a full international patent is to protect the product from endless international pirating of U.S. made products.
SCI intends to make this product a "bullet proof" patent, and go after if necessary any company in any country that attempts to infringe on this product.
It is the decision of Mr. Woroner to head in that direction, to protect the product in case law rather than move forward with production. Executive decisions are tough sometimes and someone has to do it. "It is SCI's position that protecting the full patent will be 1st on the agenda. Licensing and perhaps our own full production can begin any time, however, it has been decided to attain utilizing all of the technical drawings and cad imagery a very detailed international law worthy patent at this time."

HOLSTER FOR TACRAIL
Sunday, December 03, 2006
Immediate Release-
Survival Consultants has devised an extremely unique design for holstering the Model B TacRail mounted pistol.
(Qoute, D.Woroner "It took a while to figure out.
It is as unique as the TacRail, what can I tell you, it takes a unique holster to rapidly deploy the system. We had two basic choices, totally ensleeve the whole things, or go a somewhat different route, I chose the later. Im sure everyone will have an opinion, they always do."
As soon as imagery and testing is complete, the holster will be made available for sale on the website and then eventually through our Dealers.
If you are interested in becoming a Dealer, send contact via email, state reasons why you would make a good dealer.
TacRail Mod. B & add'l Patenting...(Legacy & OEM mdls.)
Sunday, December 03, 2006
Survival Consultants has completed its second round of suring up its intellectual property rights in reference to the WOR4 TacRail. The Patent includes "Legacy" pistols, which basically are made up of any pistol consisting of NO lower rail manufactured into pistol by original manufacturer. "OEM" pistols in the patent, denote the alternate, yet remarkably similar in attachment technique as the legacy version, just utilizing the OEM lower railing vs. the dustcover affixation point, yet the uniquely SCI Design of the Sliding Lock Bar will be used on all TacRail Products are they remarkably well suited for this task.
The first two CNC machined for T/E in house at SCI have been created and have already undergone a 2,ooo rnd test, 1000 rnds with empty rail, 1000 rnds with loaded rail. The pistol/tacrail was subjected to 5 blows of varying weight forces during these 1000 rnd tests and were carried out every 200 rnds. intervals. NO FAILURES of any type were noted.
From David Woroner- " We haven't even gotten the first one off the true production lot yet, these were just cut based on the input data on inferior machines outside of the normal process. I'm actually very surprised we didn't get any failures? I thought that by altering the ammunition, differing the force of blows, alternate the substances struck, such as wood, glass, meat, etc... I just expected something to give, snap, come loose, failure to feed.... It almost makes me nervous to not get a failure. Well, maybe we've really done a good job? I'll know more shortly, I need to really put the first few off the line through my own personal hell course of testing, which is brutal... let you know more soon, we're about ready to release this mainstream unless there is a major flaw found, which I doubt." <qoute, David Woroner

SCI Files 2nd Armor Patent
Thursday, November 16, 2006
Survival Consultants is working hard to bring the newest in life saving equipment for those that go into harms way.
SCI is proud to announce that a second patent has been filed with the USPTO. David Woroner, President of Survival Consultants had the following to say about this new patent:
"The first patent we filed in reference to armor was basically to articulate a set of new and unique set of materials and processes to form a new type of armor.
The patent recently filed, our second, not including one I seperate because it is a helmet and a helmet system, is also inclusive of materials and processes, however, it is more about creating an entire system. This patent approaches armor completely different from others. Currently companies look at their armor and say ("if a bullet hits this, x,y,z-- would happen, what can we do to make it stronger and lighter?") We are approaching it as action/reaction, but with a technological edgy push forward. Its my personal opinion that aside from some very lightweight hdpe heat pressed panels that were nicely made, that the entire worn armor/armor industry is stuck, reached a plateu and are unable to move to the next level. I think we have the solution to getting to that next level."-D.W.
Further more, Mr. Woroner stated: "We have been in contact with an armor company, we see an amazing opportunity should we be able to reach an agreement to proceed together. SCI is looking forward to this journey, Mr Woroner has been studying ballistics specifically for over 15 years and armor of all types for roughly seven (7) years. "If we could field both the helmet technology and both patent intents in the next gen bodyarmor/vehicle armor, I know that alot of jaws would drop. My only goal in life pretty much is to see that man or woman get off of a plane from overseas, and go home alive to their family."

Mr.Woroner, a life long firearms collector & enthusiast knows first hand that if you collect pistols, then have to holster each one, and in most cases more than one holster per pistol, it can get expensive quickly. No holster should be purchased because it is cheap, that it "all kinds of bad" said Mr. Woroner. "My thought on this is why not create a holster that utilizes top quality materials, best able hand made holsters that are literally HALF THE PRICE? Mr. Woroner did some research and found that he could indeed made this a reality.
SCI intends to create several types of the most commonly carried firearms. [ Colt MilSpec Type 1911's, Glock 19 & 21's, Beretta & Taurus (Beretta M9/92FS and Taurus Equivalent as well as Ruger SP101 .357, Charter Arms .38 Snub. ]
Survival Consultants also will create Custom PDA holders designed for those who need technology, and go into rough places.
We will be displaying our initial offerings for sale on this website in the near future.
Also, look for the WOR4 TacRail in the near future available on this website. "The Tacrail is going to blow a few peoples minds, it's really more than I could have ever hoped for, Im really excited. The other thing that potential customers should know is that NOW we will be able to make a holster for your Beretta with the TACRAIL attached, now that's 'a system'!!"
If you have questions or interest in this, feel free to contact with any questions you may have.

Addition to original story as of December 3rd '06

Survival Consultants has developed its capabilities to create custom kydex holsters. However, due to the possibility of needing these resources to remain available to be at the disposal of being used solely for TACRAIL holster supply, we have held off on releasing a new line for now. We do however have a unique idea for what and how our line will look, its a whole different look, and way of approaching the holster. More soon...
SCI & 3D Engineering begin building WOR4 TacRail
Friday, September 15, 2006
From: David Woroner, Pres. SCI
For Immediate Release:
Survival Consultants International is pleased to announce it has finalized agreement & supplied all data to 3D Engineering of Pomapano Beach Fl. to begin the process of bringing the WOR4 TACRAIL to market.
There are multiple facets in the creation of this radically "peculiar" device.
It begings with a series of CAD wire frames, moves on to SLA (Stereo Lithography) and finally the molds are made.
The WOR4 Tacrail is a multi pronged offensive/defensive device and would like to see law enforcement and military interest and/or involvement. It is our duty and responsibility at SCI to offer it to these defenders of our liberties.
We do also believe that any person in good standing (not a felon or mentally incompetent) should have access. This has not been finalized, however, SCI is examining having I.D. presented in order to purchase this device for in house only record keeping. There will be more on this later.
We are very happy to be working with 3D Engineering on what we believe will be a successful product.

David Woroner. Here is my update as of June.
1) Survcons submits new breathing system and regulations opinions to MHSA (Mine Health and Safety Administration)
2) Survcons posts initial Helmet Designs and fixes that had been available from Survcons for a long time. I have always put forth that the helmets being currently worn that have the webbing type inserts are "life takers" when it comes to IED's.
3) Survcons has not perfected, but, has made large and meaningful steps towards creating defeating the higher caliber bullets used by insurgents. Please see other parts of this site to see what I mean....... thank you for visiting. DW
