Survival Consultants has completed its second round of suring up its intellectual property rights in reference to the WOR4 TacRail. The Patent includes “Legacy” pistols, which basically are made up of any pistol consisting of NO lower rail manufactured into pistol by original manufacturer. “OEM” pistols in the patent, denote the alternate, yet remarkably similar in attachment technique as the legacy version, just utilizing the OEM lower railing vs. the dustcover affixation point, yet the uniquely SCI Design of the Sliding Lock Bar will be used on all TacRail Products are they remarkably well suited for this task.
The first two CNC machined for T/E in house at SCI have been created and have already undergone a 2,ooo rnd test, 1000 rnds with empty rail, 1000 rnds with loaded rail. The pistol/tacrail was subjected to 5 blows of varying weight forces during these 1000 rnd tests and were carried out every 200 rnds. intervals. NO FAILURES of any type were noted.
From David Woroner- ” We haven’t even gotten the first one off the true production lot yet, these were just cut based on the input data on inferior machines outside of the normal process. I’m actually very surprised we didn’t get any failures. I thought that by altering the ammunition, differing the force of blows, alternating the substances struck, such as wood, glass, meat, etc… I just expected something to give, snap, come loose, failure to feed…. It almost makes me nervous to not get a failure. Well, maybe we’ve really done a good job. I’ll know more shortly, I need to really put the first few off the line through my own personal hell course of testing, which is brutal… let you know more soon, we’re about ready to release this mainstream unless there is a major flaw found, which I doubt.” <quote, David Woroner
